Today, take a safari game-drive adventure into the Chobe National Park, home to one of the densest populations of wildlife in Africa. Experience your first game drive by vehicle as you set off in search for an array of different animals in Botswana’s most famous National Park. In the afternoon, join a safari by boat as you explore the banks of Chobe National Park, or go an expedition to catch the ferocious tigerfish. Unwind on board later with High Tea and a delicious dinner. (B,L,D)

This morning enjoy an exciting private boat safari as well as a bird watching excursion to introduce you to then area’s local birdlife. Later you will also enjoy a slightly different version of a river safari aboard a special river barge which will allow you to venture into the southern channels. This excursion will offer you a new viewpoint to observe hippos and elephants in their natural habitat. Tonight, your Cruise Manager will host your Farewell Dinner on board. (B,L,D)

This morning, transfer to the legendary Victoria Falls, one of the greatest natural wonders on earth. Settle into your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring the city or experiencing one of the many activities offered by your hotel. (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg, the largest city in South Africa. After arriving at your hotel, settle in to your suite or enjoy the lawns on the property grounds. A special dinner is arranged for you tonight. (B,L,D)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in the morning before flying to Nairobi, Kenya. Upon arriving in Nairobi you be met by an AmaWaterways representative who will escort you to your connecting flight to Tanzania. After arriving in Tanzania you shall be picked up by a lodge representative from Kilimanjaro Airport and chauffeured to Arusha Coffee Lodge. Your stay at The Arusha Coffee Lodge will be for two nights and is on an all-inclusive basis. The Arusha Coffee Lodge is said to be haven for calming composure for the start of a Tanzanian safari. (B,L,D)

After breakfast this morning, you will be welcomed with a briefing session on your safari followed by a ‘bean-to-cup’ coffee tour. Later, choose one of the activities available just for our guests such as a day of shopping at the famous Masai markets. This afternoon, perhaps sip champagne as you reminisce about the bygone eras of settlers, pioneers and explorers. Indulge yourself and unwind in the warm and home-style comfort of the Arusha Coffee Lodge with a dinner prepared by the lodge’s chef. (B,L,D)

After breakfast you will be chauffeured just minutes away to Arusha Airport to board our Executive Grand Caravan and fly to Kuro Airstrip in Tarangire National Park. On arrival, the Tarangire Treetops team will meet you for an exciting game drive and a lunch in the wilds of Africa, after which you will enter Treetops’ private reserve. Spend two magical nights on an all-inclusive basis in a Tree House that rests on the branches of thousand-year old marula and baobab trees. Listen as the winds seem to carry bedtime stories through ancient tree limbs to calm your senses and cradle your slumber. Nowhere, does fantasy come alive as it does here. Awaken to beautiful bird song and leave only your footprints as you walk alongside the creatures of the African wilderness. (B,L,D)

After breakfast at Treetops you will enjoy a full day of activities including game drives, a visit to an authentic Masai village, a game-walk, sundowners in the bush and a night game drive. Lunch and dinner will be served at Treetops in Tarangire. This national park in Tanzania has a stunning baobab-studded landscape and is a bird watcher’s paradise, containing the highest number of breeding bird species of any habitat in the world. It is also home to thousands of resident elephants and huge herds of buffalo, a good place to see leopards, lions and a wide variety of plains game. The park holds the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators – and is the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed. Dinner at Treetops is always a delight, whether it is in the Masai Manyatta under the stars with local Masai warriors to entertain you, or in the more sophisticated dhow-wood furnished restaurant overlooking the floodlit waterhole under a canopy of giant baobab trees. (B,L,D)

Today you will enjoy a morning game drive through Tarangire National Park en route to the airstrip. Upon arrival at Manyara Airstrip, the team from The Manor at Ngorongoro will meet you and take you to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive and where lunch will be served overlooking the lake. You will arrive at The Manor in time for high-tea. Here, your two-night stay will be in a cottage on an all-inclusive basis. The Manor at Ngorongoro, located on a huge coffee estate adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, enjoys magnificent views from coffee bushes to far-flung African horizons. Designed to celebrate the Cape Dutch settlers’ influence in the region, its sparkling, white-painted, ornate gables are set off perfectly amongst the mature, indigenous and exotic trees. (B,L,D)

After breakfast, your safari vehicle will take you on a full day of exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater in Northern Tanzania. Once a gigantic volcano, it is the largest intact caldera in the world. Some maintain that before it erupted, it would have been higher than Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. Today, long since having collapsed and eroded, it is an extensive highland area with the famous 600 meter deep Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth and is home to a wide variety of animals. A picnic hamper lunch will be served on the crater floor. After lunch, you will explore more of the crater before heading back to the Manor for evening cocktails, dinner and overnight sojourn. Enjoy the splendor of watching the sun go down from your private terrace before an evening of sophisticated up–country hospitality in the magnificent main house. (B,L,D)

After breakfast you will be chauffeured to Manyara Airstrip from where your flight to the Serengeti departs. Upon arrival at Lobo Airstrip you will be welcomed by the team from Serengeti Migration Camp and will get to enjoy a game drive en route to the camp where your lunch will be served. This afternoon, it is time to stretch your legs on a game walk, should you choose to join. Spend the next two nights at Serengeti Migration Camp in a luxurious safari tent, on an all-inclusive basis. Serengeti Migration camp is hidden in a beautiful place where silence and peace are so enchanting that they create a private symphony whose audience is your every sensation. Discover the pleasure of raw wilderness on a level never imagined. (B,L,D)

After breakfast you will spend the full day exploring the vast Serengeti. Enjoy a lunch in the bush, after which the afternoon will be spent game viewing. You will return to Serengeti Migration Camp in time for sundowners and dinner. It is not possible to say with any accuracy where the Great Migration of the Wildebeest will be at any one time. There are a number of determining factors; however, one can be assured that if there is a good chance of seeing it then this can be accomplished from Migration Camp. Today will be spent in an open safari cruiser, well stocked with a picnic hamper and cool drinks, for the great expedition to find the Migration. It’s important to remember that not all the animals in the Serengeti opt to join the wildebeest in their time-honored circuit to find the best grazing. Zebras certainly tag along and a good number of predators who are looking for the weak and unwary. But many species are quite happy with their own territory, which makes a day’s game driving in the Serengeti an absolute delight and an experience to be treasured and remembered. (B,L,D)

After breakfast enjoy a game drive en route to the Lobo airstrip in the Serengeti for your flight back to Arusha. Once again the team from Arusha Coffee Lodge will welcome you and show you your dayroom to freshen-up and relax. Lunch will be served in the gardens of the lodge before your final transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport where your African safari comes to a close. We trust you will bring home memories that will last a lifetime. (B,L)
