Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town

Situated amidst majestic mountains and lined with pristine white sand beaches, Cape Town is home to a rich cultural and historical heritage with vibrant restaurants and remarkable sightseeing activities. After your airport greeting, transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure.

Day 2: Cape Town

Your full-day tour starts with a cable car journey up the famous Table Mountain, which offers magnificent views from its summit. Afterwards, head off on a scenic drive through the wine regions outside Cape Town – Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Enjoy lunch with drinks at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel. (B,L)

Day 3: CAPE TOWN

After breakfast at your hotel, you will journey by motor coach along the Atlantic Seaboard, past the 12 Apostles and Hout Bay and through Chapman’s Peak, one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world. You’ll also see the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and majestic Cape Point, where you will venture to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to Boulders Beach for an exciting close-up encounter with African penguins. (B,L)

Day 4:CAPE TOWN – ZAMBEZI QUEEN (EMBARKATION DAY)

After breakfast, fly to Kasane, Botswana via Johannesburg. Here you will be transferred to the Chobe River where tender boats will escort you to board the Zambezi Queen. This afternoon, enjoy the view as you settle in on the Chobe River before a Welcome Cocktail and Dinner on board the vessel. (B,L,D)

Day 5: ZAMBEZI QUEEN

This morning embark on a boat safari to explore the Chobe River’s spectacular game viewing. Journey back to the Zambezi Queen for lunch as well as time to relax on board and take in the scenery surrounding you at every turn. After lunch, enjoy an unforgettable visit to Kasenu village to experience the local culture first-hand. This evening you’ll head ashore for an African Boma Dinner, which features various flavorful local specialties. (B,L,D)

Day 6: ZAMBEZI QUEEN

Today, take a safari game-drive adventure into the Chobe National Park, home to one of the densest populations of wildlife in Africa. Experience your first game drive by vehicle as you set off in search for an array of different animals in Botswana’s most famous National Park. In the afternoon, join a safari by boat as you explore the banks of Chobe National Park, or go an expedition to catch the ferocious tigerfish. Unwind on board later with High Tea and a delicious dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 7: ZAMBEZI QUEEN

This morning enjoy an exciting private boat safari as well as a bird watching excursion to introduce you to then area’s local birdlife. Later you will also enjoy a slightly different version of a river safari aboard a special river barge which will allow you to venture into the southern channels. This excursion will offer you a new viewpoint to observe hippos and elephants in their natural habitat. Tonight, your Cruise Manager will host your Farewell Dinner on board. (B,L,D)

Day 8: ZAMBEZI QUEEN (DISEMBARKATION DAY) – VICTORIA FALLS
This morning, transfer to the legendary Victoria Falls, one of the greatest natural wonders on earth. Settle into your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring the city or experiencing one of the many activities offered at your hotel. (B)

Day 9: VICTORIA FALLS

A local guide and your Cruise Manager will take you on a tour of the remarkable Victoria Falls today. You’ll learn about its history and the flora and fauna that makes this area so unique. Tonight, embark on a private and festive Sundowner Cruise along the Zambezi River. Relax on board as you observe a variety of game and enjoy a delicious mix of tapas with drinks and music. (B,D)

Day 10: VICTORIA FALLS – JOHANNESBURG

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg, the largest city in South Africa. After arriving at your hotel, settle in to your suite or enjoy the lawns on property grounds. A special dinner is arranged for you tonight. (B,L, D)

Day 11:JOHANNESBURG – GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

This morning, fly to the Greater Kruger National Park, the top eco-tourist destination of the Lowveld, where you’ll be transferred to a private game lodge, Tintswalo Safari Lodge. Later, set out on an afternoon game drive in search of the country’s “Big Five” and other native wildlife. Tonight you will enjoy your first dinner at the lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 12:GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Begin your day with an early morning game drive. Your open-air vehicle is the perfect means to explore this private game reserve, located just a stone’s throw from the game-rich Kruger National Park. The rest of the morning can be spent enjoying the facilities at your lodge. The afternoon brings another game drive deep into the bush, where you may encounter South Africa’s top predators: cheetahs, hyenas and lions. This region is also home to South African’s vast raptor population, including eagles often seen soaring in the skies high overhead. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner then relax on your private terrace, listening to exotic sounds of Africa at night. (B,L,D)

Day 13: GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy two exhilarating game drives today, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, as well as ample leisure time to relax and enjoy your game lodge accommodations. Tonight, after dining with your fellow travelers, the evening is yours to read, socialize, or simply gaze up at the stunning star-filled African sky. (B,L,D)

Day 14: GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – JOHANNESBURG

Early this morning, you’ll have your final game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Afterwards, transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg for your connecting flight home. (B)
