DAY
1: VENICE
Embarkation
on the MS Michangelo for your Po River Cruise takes place at the passenger terminal dock and departure of the
cruise from the Quay of the 7 Martyrs. Settling into the cabin is
followed by introduction of the crew in the lounge over a welcome
cocktail. Dinner on board with a free evening in Venice. Overnight
in Venice.
DAY
2: VENICE MURANO & BURANO
Breakfast
is on board with an optional morning city tourof Venice. Return on
board around 1:00 PM for lunch. In the afternoon, there is an
optional tour offered to the islands of Burano and Murano by
private boat. Burano is well-known for its lace and Murano for its
ancient glassblowing methods. Or, you can have the afternoon free
to explore Venice on your own. Return on board from the tour late
in the afternoon. Dinner on board the ship with a free evening in
Venice. Overnight in Venice.
DAY 3:
VENICE - CHIOGGA
Breakfast
on board. The morning is on your own in Venice but return on board
by 11:30 AM for lunch and departure of the cruise through the Venice
Lagoon towards Chioggia. Arrive in Chioggia, a typical Adriatic
fishing port, at around 4:00 PM. You will have an opportunity for a
free afternoon in Chioggia to explore the town. Return on board
around 7:00 PM for dinner. That evening is free in Chioggia.
Overnight in Chioggia.
DAY 4:
TAGLIO DE PO - PADOVA - CRESPINO
Departure
of the ship at around 8:00 AM with breakfast on board while we
cruise on the Adriatic Sea along the Italian coastline. Arrive in
Taglio di Po around 12:00 Noon with lunch on board. At 1:00 PM, an
optional motorcoach tour is offered to Padova, the town of Saint
Antoine de Padova. You will have the afternoon free to explore
Padova before returning to the ship at about 7:00 PM. Dinner on
board. Overnight in Santa Maria Magdalena or in Crespino.
DAY
5: REVERE
Departure
of the ship early in the morning with breakfast on board. Arrive in
Revere at 11:00 AM. Lunch is on board. That afternoon an optional
sightseeing tour by motorcoach is offered to Mantova. You will
discover that natural park and town of Mantova, well-known for the
Duke Palace. Return on board from the tour at 6:00 PM. Dinner and
farewell dinner on board. Overnight in Revere or in Melara.
DAY 6:
BORETTO - CREMONA
Breakfast
is on board. Departure of the ship early in the morning towards
Boretto. Lunch on board with an arrival in Boretto at around 1:00
PM. An optional motorcoach tour is offered in the afternoon to
Verona, a beautiful and romantic town, which was the setting for the
story of Romeo and Juliet. Return on board at around 7:00 PM. Dinner
and entertainment on board. Overnight in Cremona.
DAY
7: CREMONA
Breakfast
on board followed by disembarkation in Cremona.
