Skip to Venice to Milan itinerary

Day 1: Milan

You’ll check into your 4-star hotel in Milan or Lake Maggiore and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Milan - Lake Como

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. We’ll head to Como for a guided tour of the city, an invitation to rest and relaxation. We’ll visit the remarkable cathedral and have lunch in a local restaurant (lunch only; drinks are extra).

In the afternoon, we'll take the funicular to the summit, where you’ll have a great view of the lake and city below. We’ll return to Como and enjoy a boat tour of the lake. After our excursion, we’ll return to Milan by coach. Dinner and accommodations at a hotel.

Day 3: Milan - Mantua (Embarkation)

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. We’ll enjoy a panoramic tour of Milan to get an overview of what it has to offer. We’ll have lunch in a local restaurant (lunch only; drinks are extra).

The afternoon will be dedicated to discovering the historic center, including a visit to the cathedral. We’ll hit the road for Mantua (an approximate 2-hour drive) and board our ship at 6 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Enjoy a free evening to explore the city on your own.

Day 4: Mantua

In the morning, join an excursion common for both Classic and Discovery excursions packages: A guided tour of Mantua, where the House of Gonzaga ruled for almost 400 years.

You're free to do as you please in the afternoon.

Or enjoy an OPTIONAL tour of the Ferrari Museum in Modena (not included in both excursions packages). 

Day 5: Mantua - Cremona - Valdaro

Join us for an excursion to Cremona (lunch is included; drinks are extra). We’ll indulge in a tasting of Italian cheeses and cold cuts.

Day 6: Valdaro - Verona - Ostiglia - Rovigo

This morning, the excursions are:
Classic Excursions package: Visit Verona and its amphitheater (-OR- the Giusti Gardens in July/August or if the amphitheater is closed).
Discovery Excursions package: Verona through its gastronomy.

We'll return on board in Ostiglia and spend the afternoon cruising.

Day 7: Porto Viro - Padua - Chioggia - Venice

This morning, join us on an OPTIONAL excursion: A guided tour of Padua. As you enjoy your tour, the ship will cruise to Chioggia. (Note:  Passengers cannot remain on board the ship between Chioggia and Porto Viro.)

For those who decide not to join us on the excursion, you will be transferred from Porto Levante to Chioggia (Note:  Passengers cannot remain on board the ship between Chioggia and Porto Viro.) Enjoy some free time in Chioggia.

After our tour, we'll return on board and begin to cruise to Venice. Enjoy a free evening to explore the city on your own.

Day 8: Venice

This morning, we offer two excursions:
Classic Excursions Package: Guided tour of Doge’s Palace and Saint Mark’s Square.
Discovery Excursions Package: Venice and the Dorsoduro district

This afternoon, join us on an excursion common for both Classic and Discovery excursions packages: The Venetian Lagoon and its islands, Murano and Burano.

Tonight is our festive gala evening.

Day 9: Venice (Disembarkation)

Enjoy breakfast on board this morning before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.

Departures & Pricing

Advisements:

• A valid passport is required for travel. Passports must be valid at least 6 months after the last day of travel.
• Please check visa requirements with your local consulate(s); responsibility for obtaining visas rests with the traveler.
• For reasons of navigation and passenger safety, the cruise operator and the Captain of the ship reserve the right to modify the itinerary of the cruise.
• Until further notice, it is only possible to select one of the 2 excursions packages on offer. You will thus only be able to book the Classic Package OR the Discovery Package. Please advise at the time of booking the excursion package you wish to choose.
